Beef & Cabbage Skillet
Serves: 3
Serving size: ~1½ cups
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 or 85/15)
1 medium green cabbage, sliced
1–2 tbsp butter or tallow
Salt, pepper, garlic (to taste)
If you like any dried herbs, add them as well. I love herbs de Provence or just thyme and rosemary.
Instructions:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add butter or tallow.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Add sliced cabbage and garlic, stir well, and reduce heat to medium.
- Cover and cook 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.
- Adjust seasoning and serve.
